DC solar power system Component installation

I. components installation precautions

The electrical installation of photovoltaic modules shall be based on relevant regulations, including electrical related regulations and power connection requirements. Please contact the local power department for specific terms.

Please do not install photovoltaic modules on the roof without safety precautions, including falling protection, ladders and staircases and personal protective equipment. At the same time, do not install or operate distributed pv systems in adverse circumstances, such as strong wind and gusty weather, wet frosted roof surfaces, etc.

In light of photovoltaic power generation systems will produce direct current (dc), current enhanced with the increase of the light, if touch component circuit there is a risk by electric shock or burns, 30 volts or higher dc voltage may even be fatal. Therefore, in the process of installation and maintenance, it is necessary to cut off the power supply of the photovoltaic power system, or to remove them to a completely flat environment, or cover the surface of the components with opaque materials. If you are operating in the sun, use an insulating tool and do not wear metal accessories.

To avoid electric arc and electric shock hazard, do not disconnect the electrical connection without load work. You must keep the plugs dry and clean to ensure they are in good working condition. Do not insert other metal objects into the plug, or do electrical connections in any other way. Do not touch or operate the glass fragmentation, bezel and backboard damage of the photovoltaic module unless the component is disconnected from the electrical connection and you are wearing personal protective gear. Do not touch the wet components.

2. Design considerations

Pv modules must be installed in suitable buildings or other suitable locations (such as ground, roof, side elevation, etc.); It is generally recommended that pv modules be installed with a tilt Angle of more than 10 degrees so that it can be self-cleaning when it rains. When one or more photovoltaic modules are partially or completely occlusion the system performance will be significantly reduced.

General distributed recommendations to install components to areas where there is no shadow throughout the year to increase the generating capacity of the photovoltaic system. In places where lightning activity is frequent, lightning protection devices must be installed for the photovoltaic system.
